{"id":237,"date":"2026-03-11T14:11:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T14:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wispy-king.wp1.host\/?p=237"},"modified":"2026-08-03T10:07:41","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T10:07:41","slug":"pharmaceutical-industry-knowledge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vakcinas.lv\/en\/farmacijas-nozares-zinas\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes in the procedure for declaring drug prices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Changes to the procedure for declaring drug prices will come into effect on June 12, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The State Medicines Agency (ZVA) informs that amendments to Cabinet Regulation No. 803 will enter into force on June 12, 2026.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/likumi.lv\/ta\/id\/120074\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cRegulations on the principles of drug pricing\u201c<\/a>&nbsp;regarding the procedure for declaring drug prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several changes will come into effect under these Amendments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marketing authorisation holders and their authorised representatives will only have to update information on the declared price of medicines once a year, namely by 1 January for the prices that will come into effect on 1 January, thus reducing the administrative burden.
